Design Week organised by the Mechanical Engineering Department – Fall 2024-25

Design Week organised by the Mechanical Engineering Department – Fall 2024-25
Published Date: Thursday, 19 June 2025

Design projects and hands-on experience are essential components of our BS Mechanical Engineering curriculum. They bridge the gap between theory and real-world application, allowing students to apply fundamental principles in practical settings. These experiences foster problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork—key skills for engineering practice. The Design Week organised by the Mechanical Engineering Department was a great success! Our students from both mechanical and mechatronics engineering programs presented their projects and prototypes in a range of events including Design and Development of Spherical Robots, Vibration Design and Analysis of Beam, and Design of Mechanisms. Our final year students also presented and demonstrated their Capstone Design Projects to the juries. The high honour and honour certificates were also awarded to the respective students during the Design Week Fall 2024-25.
