EMU Mechanical Engineering Department Students Visit 2.4 MW Solar PV Power Plant Construction Site

Students from the EMU Department of Mechanical Engineering, accompanied by the Department Chair, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat ÖZDENEFE, participated in a technical field visit to the 2.4 MW photovoltaic (PV) power plant installation site currently under construction by Style and Smart Electronics Ltd. at Salamis Bay Hotel on 29 April.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe the project closely, examine key technical aspects of the PV installation process, and gain practical insight into renewable energy systems. The trip provided a valuable link between classroom theory and real-world engineering practice, enriching students’ understanding of solar energy technologies and project implementation.
