Academic Achievement Awards – 2024–2025

At the 2024–2025 Academic Award Ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Babak Safaei was honored with multiple prestigious awards across several categories in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements. The awards include the “Top 2 % World’s Most Influential Scientists” presented by the TRNC Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu, the Faculty Publication Award presented by EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç, Research Incentive Award presented by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Öztüren, and the Scientific Publication Citation Award presented by the Board of Trustees Member Şemi Bora. Dr. Safaei has been among the “Top 2% of the World’s Most Influential Scientists” for four consecutive years now, highlighting the global impact and sustained excellence of his research contributions.

During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Devrim Aydın and Prof. Dr. Qasim Zeeshan were also honored with the prestigious Scientific Publication Citation Award for their outstanding research achievements during the 2024–2025 academic year. The awards were presented by Board of Trustees Member Turan Büyükyılmaz and EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç, respectively.

These recognitions reflect the EMU Department of Mechanical Engineering’s strong commitment to academic excellence and the significant research contributions of its faculty members.
